Ken Rutkowski, now the sole owner of Outer Limit, co-founded the studio 15 years ago and has steadily earned respect as a recording engineer and producer since the studio doors opened in 1993. With experience in rock, jazz, classical, and a newfound genius for hip-hop production, he is taking the local music scene by storm and is gaining tremendous notoriety and attention.

Ken's impressive client list includes Grammy award-winning artist Eminem, Raheem DeVaughn, Jarod Miller of Animal Planet and Greatest American Dog, Derek Roy of the Buffalo Sabres, and a huge list of local legendary musicians in Blues, Soul, Jazz, Rock and R & B. Ken has an extremely varied background, which makes him the perfect fit for nearly any style of music.

In addition to recording performing artists, Outer Limit can create commercials in any style for businesses needing to step to the next level.

The control room at Outer Limit, warm and comfortable, sits in the center of the five recording rooms with easy access and sight lines to all of the iso rooms. The drum room/main recording room is acoustically dead, which means that anything recorded there can be made to sound like it's in any space when mixing down. All of the other recording rooms are acoustically tailored to fit the specific needs of any singer or instrumentalist.

The room configuration allows a band to play together and keep the best of the performances, while separating the amps for complete isolation and easy overdubbing later. The drummer has his own room, while the rest of the band stands one room away, seperated by windows, in an atmosphere as comfortable as a rehearsal. Because of this, the life and soul of a group's performance is always captured, but any mistakes can be fixed without ruining it.
